Accessibility Statement
Last updated: September 3, 2026
MotelWebWorks wants everyone to be able to use motelwebworks.com, including people who rely on assistive technology. We build with accessibility in mind and keep working at it.
Our target
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1, Level AA. These guidelines explain how to make web content more accessible to people with a wide range of disabilities, including visual, hearing, cognitive, and motor differences.
What we do
- Structure pages with real headings and landmarks so screen readers can navigate them.
- Provide descriptive alt text for meaningful images and empty alt for decorative ones.
- Label form fields and give links and buttons clear, descriptive names.
- Keep text and interface colors at readable contrast, and never lock browser zoom.
- Support keyboard navigation with a visible focus indicator and a "skip to content" link.
- Respect the "reduce motion" setting for animation.
Known limitations
Accessibility is ongoing, and some content may not yet fully meet our target — for example, an occasional third-party embed or a heading order we're still refining. When we find a gap, we fix it. If you hit a barrier we haven't caught, please tell us (below) and we'll prioritize it.
Building accessible sites for our clients
Accessibility is part of how we build. When we design a motel website, we treat WCAG 2.1 AA as the standard for the sites we deliver — including, for properties that take bookings, describing accessible rooms and features in enough detail for a guest to decide whether the property works for them. If you're a client and want to talk through accessibility for your own site, reach out.
Tell us about a problem
If any part of this Site is hard to use with assistive technology, email [email protected] with the page address and what happened. We take accessibility feedback seriously and will work with you to provide the information or function you need.
